PROJECT NAME: Fat Bottom Brewery and Hop Yard
LOCATION: Nashville, TN
Fat Bottom Brewing Company opened its doors in August of 2012. As East Nashville’s first brewery, it quickly became a neighborhood favorite. As business grew, Fat Bottom Brewery expanded from roughly 5000 square feet, to a brand new, state of the art, 33,000 square foot facility. This move allowed for a major expansion of brewing and canning operations and new top-of-the-line quality control/assurance measures. The quality control lab is one of their most exciting features, where the beer is meticulously tested for quality.
The new location is in an increasingly trendy neighborhood on Nashville’s West side, The Nations. This are has become a hotspot for new restaurants, bars and a wide variety of development.
The new location also allowed for accommodation of an onsite event venue, a taproom/restaurant/beer garden, and a growler filling station. The onsite event venue The Reserve is a massive, open event space with high ceilings and hardwood floors. The room is suitable for 150-200 guests, making it a top destination for beer-loving couples getting hitched. The Hopyard restaurant has an appetizing food menu with beer pairings. The menu offers up appetizers, salads, and sandwiches including the popular Fat Bottom burger. Highlights of the space include a double decker patio and a spacious industrial interior. Seating is offered in the outdoor beer garden, in the bar area and overlooking the brewery itself.
Coming soon will be the Nations’ Tiniest Beer Store featuring a state of the art, counter pressure growler filling station where you can fill up on Fat Bottom beers as well as a curated selection of other craft brews from across the great state of Tennessee.
Brewery tours are offered on Fridays and Saturdays. The Hop Yard is open seven days a week, for dinner Monday through Thursday and for lunch and dinner over the weekend. Go check them out!
