It’s almost St. Patrick’s Day and you know what that means! Green beer here, green beer there, green beer everywhere… Ironically, green beer is made with blue food coloring because it balances the yellowish hue of light beer turning it a lovely shade of green. Now you know!

St. Patrick’s Day Celebrations

Wilmington, NC – After the parade, this festival will include live music, dancing, great food and drinks all at Riverfront Park.

Charlotte, NC – The Charlotte St. Patrick’s Day Parade and festival promises to be another great one! The festival features Irish music, Irish dancers, bagpipers, Irish/Celtic and other vendors, children’s amusements and plenty of food & beverages.

Savannah, GA – It’s not one single event. It is an entire city taking a long weekend to celebrate including the largest parade around! In addition to the parade, you can look forward to a weekend-long festival and an endless string of dance parties from sunup to midnight.

Atlanta, GA – As usual there is too much going on in the ATL to list it all. Thankfully, Atlanta.net has compiled a list for us including parades, pub crawls, block parties, and road races.
